Embers Elementary School is Hope. High, explicit academic standards for learning, Character formation as integral to a child's full development. Close collaboration with parents who are the primary educators of their children. Embers offers a school-wide program of character formation which centers on the development of virtues. Seven virtues are fundamental: responsibility, sound decision-making, courage, self-control, faith, hope and love. Other virtues of special relevance are friendship, cheerfulness, order, respect for freedom, industriousness, and courtesy.
