- Labor and DeliveryThere are several distinct symptoms to watch out for when it comes to postpartum depression including fatigue, change in appetite, sleep disturbance, suicidal thoughts, sad mood, feelings of guilt or incompetence, fatigue, loss of interest in usual activities, poor concentration, tearfulness, and anxiety. These symptoms usually start to show in the first few weeks after delivery, but they can manifest at any point following childbirth. It is important to take these symptoms seriously when they occur, especially if you experience it more than once, and to seek treatment as soon as possible.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)We have protocols specifically designed to address depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD and Brain Aging. These protocols include lifestyle recommendations, dietary and supplement recommendations. They can be used instead of medication when clinically appropriate and certainly in addition to treatment with medication.

- Computed TomographyI also have an interest and background in functional brain imaging and its use in psychiatric practice. I spent three years in training and becoming proficient in the use of brain imaging. Here I enjoy holding consultations with patients to determine if they can be helped by undergoing a functional brain imaging test such as SPECT (single photon emission computed tomography). I also enjoyed providing the appropriate follow up treatment for them as well. I am also currently offering Trancranial Magnetic Stimulation Treatments (TMS.)
