      Dr. Gregg Feinerman is a board-certified and fellowship-trained LASIK surgeon with a thriving Orange County practice in Newport Beach. He completed his ophthalmology training at the University of California, Irvine campus in June of 1998. After his residency training, Dr. Feinerman completed a refractive surgery fellowship at the internationally recognized Gimbel Eye Center. There, he was trained in advanced ocular surgical techniques (LASIK, PRK, Intacs® corneal ring segments, phakic intraocular lenses, refractive lensectomy, cataract surgery, and AK). Dr. Gregg Feinerman has performed numerous advanced refractive techniques to treat myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism, using technology that is still currently limited to clinical trials in the United States. As a highly respected cataract and LASIK surgeon serving Newport Beach and surrounding Orange County communities, he has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and books on both subjects. His paper entitled "Safety and Efficacy of Simultaneous Bilateral LASIK" was published in the August 1999 issue of Ophthalmology. Many consider this article a landmark study in ophthalmology because it proves LASIK can be done safely on both eyes the same day.
