Security Abstract Company began operation in 1907, incorporating into its present form May 29, 1924. Our company is operating under its third generation of family ownership and management, which began under a highly regarded title man and past president of the Oklahoma Land Title Association, the late Gordon C. Rupe. This family ownership, which maintains direct daily involvement in production and planning, creates a certain level of commitment to client satisfaction that would be otherwise unattainable. We have been fortunate over the years to have provided title work on many of Kay County’s premier real estate developments, working with visionaries such as Lee Drake, Marvin Frantz, Gerald Cooley, Paul Lawrence, Don Williams, and Don Bouldin. Our focus has remained constant – to provide accurate title products supported by superior client service. Ownership and staff are committed to high standards of workmanship and service, which is why most of our employees are licensed abstractors, licensed title agents, or both. This affiliation requires standards for continued education and training and gives our employees exposure to today’s trends, business practices and current events within the industry. While we have a multitude of systems established to maintain accuracy and the utmost standards of quality, it’s important to note the real estate industry is not a cookie cutter discipline. Real estate transactions can oftentimes present challenging hurdles.
