Dr. Vera Chernomordik is a gentle and confident dentist with sharp diagnostic skills, a welcoming ear and only the best interests for her patients at heart. She excels in cosmetic Dentistry, striving to make even the simplest filling a piece of art. She has a knack for painless Dentistry, especially extractions, and knows how to put even the most anxious children and adults at ease. Dr. Vera believes that Dentistry is a practice of medicine, not a business. She always places her patients needs first above all else. Thats why she maintains an affordable fee schedule in a climate where dentistry is priced as a luxury not as a need. She believes that everyone deserves the chance to have a beautiful and healthy smile and does her best to provide access to dental services to everyone in the community. She graduated from Boston University Suma Cum Laude (with highest honors) in 2012 at the top of her class and top 99.3% in the country. She was invited into the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity as well as Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honors Society, in 2012. In July 2013 she completed her rigorous General Practice Residency at Queens Hospital Center. She has also traveled to a rural Teacapan, Mexico to provide free dental treatment to children in need. She is a member of the American Dental Association and now works with her father, Dr. Mark Chernomordik DDS. Together they combine the broad and powerful skillset of experience and modern training, working as a team to provide patients with the best available treatments and care. This is my first experience of visiting dentist in New York. I have never had such a wonderful doctor. I got perfect, full detailed explanation and well done job with my teeth. All atmosphere in the doctor's office is very friendly and helpful.
Dr. Chernomordik will tell you exactly like it is, her best reccommendation, and the best way to do it. She is kind, knowledgeable, and all of this is why I will be a permanent patient at NY Dental on 28th and 8th.
