- General SurgeryDr. Bruce S. Gingold has specialized in the practice of colon and rectal surgery for over 30 years. He is a fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and he is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Dr. Gingold has written numerous academic articles and book chapters, and he has been frequently listed in New York Magazine's "Top Doctors" issue. Dr. Gingold completed his general surgery training at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan and was a colon and rectal surgery fellow at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, under Dr. Rupert Turnbull. Dr. Gingold was the Chief of the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery at St. Vincent's Hospital, Manhattan. Now retired from clinical practice, Dr. Gingold remains a valuable resource for his patients and colleagues.
