The games are nice for kids, but be aware it does get pretty crowded. Also the tickets won’t get you much, so go in knowing that you’re really paying for the experience and not the prize. The food is subpar junk food, and the wait is horrible—I had it once and it was a long wait for cold and dreadful food. The price to play is pretty steep if you want to stay long enough to actually have fun, so I would split the price with a group.

I went last Saturday to the establishment in the Palisades Mall in NJ. I had coupons and they wouldn't accept them. I wouldn't have even been angry about that except the person at the counter got the manager who was very snotty and rude(for absolutely no reason). They were making a bigger deal about them than I was. I wasn't happy my coupon didn't work but I just wanted to move along as the line was becoming very long behind me. The manager asked me where I obtained the coupon, I told her and she replied with a very nasty attitude that they didn't work with that website.

When we went in, the place was crowded. That didn't bother me, as I had expected it to be. I was less than impressed with the items they had to redeem tickets for. That area was extremely over crowded and dirty.

I didn't eat there or have drinks this time but I did the first time I went (about 1 year ago) and the food was good.

Dave &a Busters, the &95.98 Burger & Cola

Edward J Fleury

On July 20, 2009, while in New York City, I tried for my 1st time D&B, I arrived, 1st customer of the day, I had the place to myself. I ordered: a Buster burger and a Cola. Well, I heard Magic happens here so I figured try it. I got my check, it ...showed my order and in red, an 18% gratuity has been added for your convieniance. Fine, that's fair. Until I got my bank statement yesterday! MAGIC, I'll say, (07/20/2009 234 WEST 42ND ST POS NEW YORK NY US 006227 95.98), $95.98 disappeared from my bank account.

That's gotta be some huge hamburger and coke! now my bank and New York authorities will get involved. It's not magic, it's ROBBERY!!!! Watch your charge statements!!!!!

Cover charge to Enter?

As an entertainment place, D&B is a fun location to go to in Time Square. They also have some good food. But after 10:30PM or 11PM you get charged a cover price just to enter the premisses! And that did not make me happy. On top of the money you will be spending on food and playing games, you also have to pay a cover charge? Get outta here!!!!! For this reason D&B gets 3 stars.
