I have eaten here for both lunch and dinner and the food and service are out of this world. The way Bobby can mix flavors together for that melt-in-your-mouth taste amazes me. You must try the Vidalia onion soup. It's the best I have ever had. The clam & sweet potato chowder is also divine. Start with something from the raw bar, like the tasty Crab-coconut or the lobster-avacado. For lunch, I like the Kentucky Hot Brown For dinner, don't miss the Snapper or Skate fish or try one of the delicious steaks. For sides, we liked the Brooklyn hash browns and the asparagus. For dessert, go for the deep dish chocolate cream pie. Bobby was there during our lunch and came over for a chat. He's a nice a guy as you'll meet. Nadir treated us like royalty and made us feel very special. We'll definitely be back!
Bobby Flay's new restaurant, Bar Americain, is absolutely wonderful. The food is great (the clam chowder with sweet potato is to die for good!). The menu has great food and a lot of variety and the service was impeccable. We were fortunate enough to meet Bobby at lunch and he was gracious and charming, clearly setting the example for the rest of the staff. His maitre'd went out of his way for our lunch party and it was very much appreciated.
