Love it!

Was such a huge part of my life for so many years. I studied here from the age 5 to 16. Like most teenagers I was scatterbrained, and had no idea what I wanted, so I stopped going.
Im 27 now, and still often think about the wonderful experience I had here. I would reccomend Ingrams to anyone, all ages.
They are fully involved in all aspects of kids lives, and not just in Karate.
I remember when I would get in trouble at school, I was just as worried about dissapointing Sensei Cindy as I was my parents. My folks knew this, so they were always quick to tell Sensei Cindy when I did something that does not live up to the student creed.
If I ever move back to Florida Ingrams will be the first place I go!!

This is an excellent school

As a family, we have been involved with Ingram's for 8 years. I have watched my son grow from an outgoing but somewhat clumsy child into a confident, strong, independent teenager and I believe that Ingram's has played a very large role in that. They not only want each student to excel in karate to whatever their ability might be, but they also encourage and expect that same excellence at home and at school from their students. Not once have we ever been asked or told that we should neglect our other obligations for karate. In fact, in honoring the principals behind karate, it is expected that you will not neglect those aspects of life in anyway. We have made friends that we do consider family, have laughed and cried and shared in the triumphs and disappointments of all of the students at the school.

I checked with many other schools in the area before selecting Ingram's. The price in comparable, the instructors are superior and the quality is unsurpassed. If you just want to learn how to fight with someone, Ingram's is not for you, but if you want the entire karate experience, then you will feel right at home. Our lives would not be the same without this place and the people who are involved with it on every level.

Excellent Family Friendly Karate Center

All of the instructor show a great dedication to their students. They make the atmosphere a fun, enjoyable experience, while teaching the art of karate. They are extremely knowledgable in their art. They ensure their younger students are well rounded by keeping up with school grades as well as their responsibilities at home. They have various reward programs to encourage students to be the best they can be. Their younger instructors are fabulous role models. We are very pleased with Ingram's Pro Karate Center.

Best Karate school in the area

If you are looking for a Karate school for yourself or your children and you truly want to learn the history and the true meaning of the sport Ingram's Pro Karate Center is the best place to learn. Every instructor is extremely knowledgeable, they take time with each and every student to ensure that they understand the meaning behind each aspect of karate that is being taught. At Ingram's the history and culture of Karate is as important as learning the punches and kicks that make up the sport. Sensei's John and Cindy's knowledge and experience is truly impressive and inspiring.

Respected across the United States

We've been affiliated with Ingram's for 7 years. John teaches the competition team & my daughter considers it an honor & privilege to receive his instruction. John's passion shouldn't be confused for a lack of interest in the educational needs of our children. If you were to compete you'd quickly discover that Ingram's is respected across the U.S. My daughter competes nationally & internationally & has met many, many students & instructors who know Sensei John & who have the utmost respect for his talent.

An awesome life experience at any age

I have been associated with this school since 1991, both as a student and as an instructor. All the Ingram instructors are professionals and extremely knowledgeable. They have a unique teaching style that brings out the best in any student regardless of there skill level or learning ability. They strive to teach all facets of Karate and also stress physical fitness as well. Many of the students receive one on one instructions as needed to help them achieve their goals.
It has been a life changing experience for me as well.

Could not ask for a better dojo

I’ve been a student at Ingram’s for years now I’m always impressed. The instructors are of amazing because of their vast knowledge and expertise paired with endless care for EVERY student. They ask only for each person’s best, and never expect more. I have never once been asked to sacrifice my education for karate. In fact, I can quote Sensei John in saying “still try, but do what you can"". Ingram’s provides not only quality and inspiring instruction, but a close-knit family you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Being here has allowed me to compete internationally and I give all the credit to every single instructor.

Depends on the instructor

Ingrams is great, depending on who the instructor is. Every instructor is awesome, except for John. He thinks karate should be placed above everything in your child's life. He thinks it is more inportant than school or any other activity. Parts of his workouts are dangerous and harmful to the body as well.
