We have owned a place in Colony Cove for 3 years and love it here. We had been renting for 2 years and lived in a private neighborhood 1 year before that. We did not like living in a house, but did love the abundance of orange trees. We heard of Colony Cove and put our names on the board "wanting to rent" in the Post Office at the Park. We love it here and the people are great! We have so many new friends and there are so many activities to get involved in. This year, we decided to start a Couples Golf League and are overwhelmed by the wonderful response and are having a lot of fun. The key is to meet new people and you don't have to be a good golfer. We only golf 9 holes and have fun things every week to make it interesting. We also love to fish and have a place in the Compound here to keep our boat. You can get as involved as you want and the more things you get into, the more people you meet and it sure beats the cold winters up North!!!! This is a great website!

We lived in another mobile home park that was not resident owned. Result. We lost our investment because the park was to be sold to developers. We wised up on our next purchase seeking a residdent owned park. Water / Gulf access was critical. Found Colony Cove, which turned out to be a real treasure. Colony Cove is an over 55 resident owned community on the Cotee river in New Port Richey. Activities are almost endless. The park is well maintained and FRIENDLY. It's a treasure and home are not on top of one another. Almost impossible to describe. Highly recommend the website to get a flavor of the park.
