      Jimmy Gomiela started Celebrity Moving in 1979, with the intention of providing a premium, professional moving service to discerning, quality conscious designers, architects, custom furniture manufacturers and individuals in the greater New York Metropolitan area. Angelo Donghia opened the door to the demanding world of the premier designer, where efficiency, reliability and excellence are expected. Angelo & Jimmy established a working relationship that has flourished. Celebrity Moving's reputation for excellence attracted Bunny Williams, Alexa Hampton, Anthony Lawrence-Belfair, Mariette Gomez and other top designers and custom furniture manufacturers, establishing a working partnership that continues to this day. Jimmy has striven for four decades to provide efficient, reliable, courteous, professional and respectful service to all his clients. Jimmy's commitment to excellence and family continues through his children's work with Celebrity Moving. He never wanted to be the biggest, just the best. Chuck Huizinga came to Celebrity Moving in 1981, looking for summer employment after playing ice hockey in Europe and in the 1980 Olympics. His detailed knowledge of all aspects of the moving trade was earned as he performed every task from packing and moving to dispatch and client relations. Chuck's years of experience and courteous service have been a tremendous asset to Celebrity Moving. As Vice President and Operations Manager, he is available to answer any questions about your move and its progress. Tony Boehm joined Celebrity Moving in 1989, after working as a driver and mover for Ryan International. After years of experience throughout the moving industry, Tony's conscious, respectful and personable manner have earned him the position of Sales and Special Projects Manager. Tony continues to bring his knowledge and rigorous work ethic to Celebrity Moving, as he helps direct day-to-day operations and manage large installations and special projects. He is available to do on site surveys, estimates and consulting.
