- ObstetricsOur physicians are on staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital. They each have a faculty appointment at Yale University School of Medicine and are active on the teaching staff. All of our physicians are Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Endometriosis
- PregnancyCounty Ob/Gyn offers comprehensive healthcare for women. We specialize in the problems and issues of women's health and we evaluate and manage a wide variety of health problems and conditions. Gynecological and obstetrical problems, minor or major, are capably handled. We offer all current contraceptive options, counseling for pregnancy and infertility, gynecological and obstetrical ultrasound studies, pregnancy testing, and both perimenopausal and menopause management. In addition, our physicians are skilled at general and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery.
- Labor and DeliveryIn addition to our eight physicians, County Ob/Gyn employs four Certified Nurse-Midwives. CNM's evaluate, diagnose and prescribe the proper measures for most women's health concerns. They are fully trained in women's Ob and Gyn health. During pregnancy, in addition to routine prenatal visits and testing, they provide necessary patient education regarding genetic screening, diet, nutrition, exercise, breastfeeding, and supportive labor management during childbirth.
- Cervical CancerYearly pelvic exams and Pap smears are important in monitoring your gynecologic health and screening for infection, inflammation or other abnormal cells that may indicate disease. Early detection is important in treating any disease and especially important for cervical cancer and other potentially life-threatening diseases.

- Mental HealthRelease of psychotherapy notes: Psychotherapy notes are the notes by a mental health professional for the purposes of documenting a conversation during a private session. This session could be with an individual or a group. These notes are kept separate from the rest of the medical record and do not include; medications and how they affect you, start and stop time of sessions, types of treatments provided, results of test, diagnosis, treatment plan, symptoms, prognosis.

- UltrasoundThe offices of County Obstetrics and Gynecology are located in four area towns: New Haven, Branford, Madison and Wallingford. The physicians are available on a rotating basis throughout all of our locations. For your convenience, we have ‘evening hours’ in our Branford office for visits and ultrasound studies.
