      I went to County vet for the first time to put a cat down. Last vet I went to, I was treated poorly. So I called around for a new vet when I realized my cat needed to be put to sleep, and their euthanasia fees were the best in the area. I was happy to find compassion, caring & understanding in Dr. Weiner. He was honest with me & didn't insist on doing unnecessary tests or procedures on my cat (which happened to me with another cat at another vet in the past & I ultimately wound up having to put the cat down, anyhow). He was straightforward, yet kind & comforting. I've dealt with some vets in the past that were jerks, only interested in making money. This was not the case with Dr. Weiner. I plan to take my other pets to him, as well.

      About UsCounty Animal Hospital (CAH) is located in Rockland County, NY, just 10 minutes north of the Mario Cuomo Bridge and a 30-minute drive northwest of Manhattan. CAH is privately owned and has a rich history and heritage. Robert Weiner, VMD, Diplomate ABVP (canine/feline), has been here since 1981.Our practice is open 6 days a week (Mon-Sat). CAH is an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited hospital providing medical, surgical, dental, nutritional and behavioral care. Our patients include dogs, cats, birds, and some exotics.
