- Kitchen RemodelingOur addition/renovation included a new 500 square foot kitchen, a new 500 square foot master bath and master bedroom, and a new 250 square foot entry and staircase. This required all phases of construction: foundation, drainage, framing, roofing, insulation, electrical, and HVAC, and finish work such as mouldings, paneling, tile installation, kitchen cabinetry, and wood floor installation and finishing. Matthew also coordinated our exterior sidewalks and stairs.

- FramingThroughout the project Matthew would always ensure that we were pleased, and would involve us if any changes needed to take place based upon changing field conditions or availability of specified products. We are very particular in regard to quality, and we can firmly say that Matthew is as well. The amount of time and care that was spent on the foundation, drainage, and framing will be a testimonial to the future longevity of our home. Even when things weren’t Matthew’s responsibility or in the contract, he would offer us advice and/or companies that could do the work.

- New ConstructionI began my construction career working over the summer as an apprentice at the age of 16. I immediately fell in love with carpentry and the fulfillment of watching a project come to fruition. After graduating from the University of New Haven with a business administration degree, I spent the next ten years learning every aspect of residential construction and design first-hand. I started my own construction company in 1985.
- DecksThis home is uniquely positioned on a barrier beach. It is surrounded by a salt pond in the rear and the Atlantic Ocean in the front. The exterior of the home was carefully covered in red cedar shingles allowing it to weather and take on a distinctive seaside look. Unique dormers, balconies, and decks all add to the charm and look of the home.

- CarpentryFor our family most of this had to do with my three very different boys. Matt was quick to understand each child's interest and nourished it. Matt taught my oldest son about carpentry and put him to work on the project. Today his passion and primary focus is carpentry and working with tools. My two other boys are more into sports. Matt introduced my middle son to football and today he is the starting quarterback on his team. My youngest son is into golf largely because Matt regularly worked with him in the yard after the subs had left for the day.
- InsulationThis property is uniquely positioned with a river running through it. The mission was to build a moderately priced home with a focus on form, function, and efficiency. It has a geothermal heating and cooling system and extensive insulation properties. The interior has a warm and comfortable feeling throughout. You are greeted with a three-story continuous stairwell and railing system that ties the levels together. The focus on each of the three levels is to take advantage of the views, sounds, and beauty of the river.
