- Labor and DeliveryAt these visits Dr. Reddy’s nurses will take your vitals and test your urine for the presence of glucose or protein and Dr. Reddy will measure baby’s heart rate and your fundal height. Dr. Reddy will perform a cervical exam if a vaginal delivery is anticipated and she will give you guidelines so you know when you should report to labor and delivery.
- Ovarian CancerThe purpose of BRCA testing is to see if you are carrying a BRCA mutation and could therefore be at increased risk for developing certain cancers, including breast or ovarian cancer. Having this information can allow your physician to provide the appropriate additional screening and/or prevention options that could help reduce your risk of developing cancer. - UltrasoundAre you looking for effective birth control without a daily pill? You may want to consider a hormonal IUD. IUDs are 99% effective a preventing unwanted pregnancies and they often times have the added benefit of lighter to no periods. The Mirena IUD is for women who have had a child and offers 5 years of contraception. The Skyla IUD is for women who have not had a child and offers 3 years of contraception. We will schedule you for an insertion appointment a few days following the end of your period. After insertion, Dr. Reddy will perform an ultrasound transvaginally to confirm proper placement. Approximately 10 weeks later, our ultrasound technician will perform a second ultrasound to verify the IUD has remained in place.

- Physical TherapyAt the end of my first trimester I was experiencing back spasms and awful pain and tingling sensation in my right arm. It was very disruptive to my busy schedule as a working mom. Dr. Reddy recommended six weeks of physical therapy from the wonderful people at Christus Santa Rose Rehabilitation Center.
