This practice is a complete joke. My husband used Peacock for his divorce back in 2010. Yet, a couple days ago we got a bill in the mail for over $700 from Peacock itemized little things on there such as phone calls and court costs.He paid $4,000 6 years ago for his divorce and apparently he owes this money because they wrote his phone number as 2275 instead of 2775 and couldn't get a hold of him....for 6 freaking years.

They are money hungry snobs who hate disabled, mid to lower class people. Mark Chestnut hates dogs and will kill anyones dog who enter his office. This office trys to run everyone in NC from the Judges, Sheriff's as well as other attorneys and the list goes on. Whoever gets on their bad side will be destroyed and crushed until their names is all over the state to the point that noone will work with that person even if you are their own client and have paid in full. They make fun of, mock & blackmale people. They think they are above God himself. Then, they will drop you, after you paid over $6,000, and you don't get one dime back.

If you are fighting for custody and have been severly abused as well as your children; being very sensitive, having questions, scared etc... think again. If you are alone, don't do it! If you have a strong person backing you up and going into the office with you and in/out of court with you then you might be able to handle this. Remember, if you play with fire (even when your careful) you yourself might get burned.

I used Carolyn Peacock for child support modifcation and she was faboules. I have noting bad to say about her. She was on top of things and got my case handled very fast. I have since moved to Raleigh but will continue to use her. I strongly recommend her!######Christy
