General Info

We are a group with a diverse set of skills that are centralized around marketing and improving organizational efficiency. Several years ago we were just friends sitting down with a couple beers and discussing how oftentimes, the important work of community organizations goes unnoticed because they lack the network to reach out and be heard. It was in this brilliant moment that we realized we could take our collective skills and make an impact through collaboration. Since that time we have begun to network with nonprofits throughout the state of Massachusetts, learning more about their needs and discovering ways to help their message be heard. In 2013, we opened an office in historic downtown New Bedford, and with the help of a great team of UMass Dartmouth interns, we have been steadily growing our services and client list.In addition to our marketing and web development services, we are also expanding into grant writing. Each month we seek to identify economic, educational, medical and environmental issues in our community and look for partners that we can collaborate with to apply for grants and develop projects that can make an impact.

It is the mission of Civic Support to provide resources, education and aid to those small businesses and nonprofits that have been designed to strengthen economy, environment, public health and public education on the community level. Many community organizations fail not because their services and ideas arent important, but because they lack the time and skill set to market themselves. It is our goal to take the skills we at Civic Support possess, and use them to help these organizations reach out to their target audience and continue to grow. It is our mission to help important causes within our communities be heard.
