The Neptune Beach Public Safety Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that promotes public safety, identifies and solves criminal cases and safeguards citizens rights. The department provides bike patrol, case investigation, gun registration, crime prevention and emergency readiness services to the residents. The Neptune Beach Public Safety Department serves various writs, processes, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The department is operated by the city of Neptune Beach, Fla., which also operates other departments, such as parks and recreation, finance, fire and rescue, human resources and public works.
