I've been with Galaxy since the days when dial-up was the only service available, so I've had the time to form a "considered" opinion of this outfit. All round, tech support is super: they know their stuff and will take the time and expend the effort to solve your problem---as long as it occurs 9AM--5PM Monday -- Friday. After-hours support on weekday evenings is hit or miss, occasionally someone has picked up the call and been very helpful. More often than not, however, the call goes to an answering machine that says you'll be called back shortly by a technician. That usually happens, but the "shortly" is often in the range of 2-3 hours. The same holds true for calls made during the day on weekends, outside of regular hours. However, call in after about 4PM on a weekend day, and you might as well wait until the following Monday.

Galaxy has had the same lame email program ever since I've been with the company. It didn't work years ago, and it doesn't work today. It's sort of a giveaway when the company techs don't try to fix you email problem, but suggest tactfully that you might have better luck with this open source email, and proceed to give you the address as the fix to your problem.

The level or courtesy varies considerably by individual at Galaxy, which gives me the impression that there's no company emphasis in this area, or a lack of supervision of those speaking with customers.
