Lupton Jr. High School enrolls more than 500 students in grades kindergarten through eight. The school has a parent-teacher organization that is active in fundraising for several projects. It has more than 30 staff members, including a counselor, reading coach, librarian, principal and assistant principal. The school offers several sport activities, such as volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball and cheerleading. Its extracurricular activities include k-kids, builders club, beta, quiz bowl and spelling bee. The school s facilities include a playground, gymnasium and computer lab. Lupton Jr. High School provides classes in various subjects, such as English, social studies, mathematics, science, technology, computer, music and arts. Located in Nauvoo, Ala., the school is affiliated with the Walker County School District.
