Positioned on the northern end of S. Cedros Avenue is Vision of Gold Unique Fine Jewelry. Initially, I was drawn inside because of the name "Visions of Gold," unlike so many other boring jewelry store names, I thought this one was truly unique. After walking inside and meeting owner, designer, and jewelry of over 23 years, Scott Rath, I realized this shop was truly special. Scott greeted me with a warm smile and "How are you today?" Because of my young age, I rarely garner this warm of a greeting at some of the 'nicer' stores.) His range of jewelry did not fail to impress. He had objects I had never heard of before, much less seen! Bracelets, earrings, and necklaces made from 2000+ year old Roman glass shone like gold-flecked abalone shells, sitting in hand crafted silver settings from Israel.
