Troubled teens are OUT there in every community in the country. We have a society that celebrates the thug life or gangster live style in OUR music. Entertainment. And even video games. Every other child OUT there today is the "street corner gangster or Budding rapper". It has pervaded OUR culture and overwhelmed OUR traditional institutions such AS the sense of community. That used to center around the local church that helped maintain the community standards or IDEALS. THESE ideals where the the very substance of OUR past glory and greatness that centered on Family. And self sacrifice and love of country and respect and honoring of parents. Because of the increasing secularization of OUR nation. This erosion of OUR body of morals and ideals is almost epidemic in its invasion. Which destruction of OUR past values and culture is NOW reflected in the disturbing attitudes of are youth today. AT some point we AS a society must come to first recognize these FACTS before it will ever change. The problem is more complicated by the fact that OUR civil liberties demand Freedom of speech and expression if interpreted to their extreme offends the common sensibilities of just about ANYONE. . THE question is CAN we AS a country still afford such a reckless and irresponsible approach before it literally bankrupts OUR culture and destroys OUR children before they even GET a chance to really live and learn for themselves that there are Greater things in life to BE experienced then some caricature of life they SEE on some idiotic reality show on MTV. . . . THE problem right NOW is the damage for allot of families is already done and the inappropriate attitudes and beliefs are already there and what CAN a parent DO NOW? this is OUR role and we have real options that CAN help Bring your teen back from the ABYSS.
