Planting The Seeds for Your Child's Education

General Info
The Malvern School is committed to providing a program based on the highest standards of excellence in Early Childhood Education. The curriculum is designed to meet or exceed the standards established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation's largest non-profit early childhood organization. Since 1985, NAEYC has administered a voluntary accreditation system to help raise the quality of preschools, kindergartens and child care centers. NAEYC Accreditation is an intensive multi-year assessment process that includes an ongoing commitment to quality improvements. Programs that meet NAEYC standards of excellence provide an environment with a focus on health and safety, have teachers who are well trained, have access to excellent teaching materials, and work with curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound. Our goal is to have all of the Malvern School locations achieve NAEYC Accreditation. The Malvern School curriculum exposes the children to science concepts, language development, multicultural activities, self-help skills, fine and gross motor skills, arts and crafts, and music and movement. We believe that learning is best facilitated in an environment that is challenging, hands-on, and of course fun! We recognize the importance of exploration for children of all ages. To satisfy a child's curiosity and need for adventure, we have created two age-appropriate, custom designed rooms.
