The Finishing Touch began as a mutual love of antiques and wood that was discovered during a conversation in 1999 between Dave Adams and Cheryl Anderson. Both had extensive experience elsewhere in the furniture restoration field. A partnership was formed, and work began in a basement workshop. Business soon grew, and it was apparent that a new facility was needed. In 2001, The Finishing Touch moved into a new shop and studio in Canton, OH. We can now accomodate large and small pieces, doors, and cabinets with ease. We truly have a love and deep respect for fine furniture and quality workmanship.
