I was told the rate was $40 an hour for the first time cleaning. The two person crew showe up an hour late (with no phone call explaining the tardiness). They did an OK job at cleaning... they missed the baseboards and a half bathroom. The cleaning took 2.5 hours- or what I thought would be $100. The woman said it was going to be $200 because she likes to charge a "flat rate" for he first time and that it would be "cheaper" than the hourly. I asked why I was paying for 5 hours instead of the 2.5, she explained that if she had been alone (which is not company rule) it would have taken her twice as long (5 hours). I feel ripped off and lied to. I paid the $200 just to get them to leave. Being military, I don't have the expendable income to be ripped off by a dishonest company.
