1 month ago I stopped by for a 4$ part at Precision and this guy in the driveway Snapped ''We don't sell parts'' I've never been their before and I will not be there again

My garage door was serviced in July of 2011 by replacing broken springs and cables and was charged $ 450. Today I called them (tele 813 259 0007 which the technician serviced before had put a sticker with the tele # back of the motor) because the springs snapped again and I wanted to know the warranty of the service they did in year 2011. She told me that she cannot find any records of servicing my garage door by them and if I have any proof I can produce to the technician when he come for the inspection which would cost me $ 49. I am really disappoint since they cannot keep the records in there system and I cannot find my receipt. I will not get their service any more and got it fixed by some other company.

Called Precision to repair my garage door opener. They came in and did a good job and the tech showed me I needed other work, which was true. The door was 15 years old. He told me up front the repairs would be $600. I thought that was a little high but I agreed to do the work. During the repair the tech says you should replace the cables, I said how much? $110 he replied... That's when it hit me these guys are very expensive. I did some research over the next couple days and found out I was way over charged. Shame on me but I wanted to warn other folks... do your home work and get a couple estimates before allowing this company to do the job. Nothing wrong with the work... just very high prices.
