The food is good. There's not any great difference from other New York pizza establishments. There rules are rediculous though. I once observed them tell a women that she could not eat in the restaurant section because she was ordering pizza. Her husband was ordering an entree but they still kicked them out of the restaurant section and told them they would have to be segregated and eat at one of the two tiny tables in the to-go order area. The woman pitched a fit and they they wouldn't budge on this rule. I have also been told the specials can not be ordered in to-go orders and I asked for a side of pizza sauce to dip my pizza crust in and was told that they do not give sides of their pizza sauce and could only give me a side of tomato sauce. The food is good but customer service and appreciation is not priority here. No wonder the dining room section never has a wait. They need to get over themselves. There is nothing amazing about their pizza sauce that they need to protect the recipe and they are costing themselves money by not letting people order specials to go and segregating families that order pizza from their loved ones that want to order an entree. I don't think the girls that work the counter make the rules and they are always friendly

this place was DELICIOUS!!!!! the waitress was fantastic. so glad we tried it.the house wine was good, nice crisp salad on cold plate. had the shrimp and clam linguini and it was wonderful. husband had veal parmigiana that was perfectly cooked and cannolis for dessert.

Pizza Villa has the best Pizza and italian food in Hernando! The only other place I get pizza this fresh and authentic is when I travel to NYC! I recommend trying their calzones and chicken and veal dishes, which are also out of this world. Also, both of their locations in Spring Hill and Brooksville are family owned and operated and the owners and staff are really wonderful and treat you like family!

Pizza was alright, but the cheese was almost non-existent! I had the large cheese pizza which the layer of cheese was as thin as a sheet of paper. The pizza had a good flavor however. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs, and it was definitely nothing special. The staff was nice but their food is overpriced for the quality.

My family is in the restaurant busniess, fish at 90% of all restaurants is frozen, fresh fish will cost you $25 a plate. 40 minutes is a little bit long but not excessive, especially if you want good food cooked properly. My family had a pizza place and I still preferred Pizza Villa's pizza. As a New Yorker its is the real deal, exactly as if I was in eating it in Brooklyn. Thier entree's are very good and the service and atmosphere is outstanding. If you want fresh caught calamari then go to Tampa!

I have been eating at Pizza Villa for a very long time. These reviews that bash this restaurant are ridiculous. The review before this said to go eat at Domino's, are you kidding me! If you are eating fast food pizza like Domino's then you don't know what real food or pizza is. Pizza Villa has been in business for over twenty years and I know because I have been eating there since they opened. The pizza and Italian food there is always consistent and absolutely delicious. You can tell that the ingredients are that of quality and the food is always cooked to perfection. The staff there is always courteous, professional, and will do anything they can to make your dining experience the best ever. My family and I go out to eat here on a regular basis (at least once a week) and we have never had a complaint yet. You always know what your going to get because they are as consistent as they come. The other reviews before this said that the food was expensive, where can you go out to eat and feed a family of four for under $25? If you think that this is expensive then you have been living on another planet for the last 20 years. If people reviewed this place in a negative way it is simply because they don't know what good food and good service is all about. If I could rate Pizza Villa six stars then I would. Trust me, if you want excellent food, excellent service, and a great night out, go there and you won't be disappointed.

Great pizza! The best in town!

My family and I have been there many times. The atmosphere is fun and looks very rustic, but the food on the other hand has got to be the worst Italian food I have ever had. I really wanted to like the place but everytime we went something went wrong. The last time went the waitress billed us twice. It ended up that we paid for our bill and another couples bill. We didn't find out till a couple of days later. Overall we just had a bad experience with this place altogether. :(
