These guys are awesome! So caring. They can come off as rude if you look at it the wrong way. The wrangler I had was so sweet and did an awesome job at helping us through some kinks we experienced. Adorable and well behaved dogs as well as goats and a few different kinds of poultry can be seen. I would highly recommend. Family fun and friendly.

Jumping

Doesn't really have any jumps and the four they have are small. They won't let you jump if you didn't learn how to ride through them.

AlenaV74 Whiner

I just wanted to write a response to the review from AlenaV74, it made me laugh. You printed out directions and still got lost? Hahaha...get a map and stop relying on other people to get you from point A to point B. Businesses do not have time to hold your hand through your inability to comprehend a map. Nothing worse than people who rely completely on their navigational devices. Also, dogs everywhere? Guess what!? You're in the country, people have more animals than the average urbanite. I seriously doubt it was a puppy mill they were running. Do not criticize a facility until you evaluate it fully. Accusing people of running a puppy mill and insinuating that it is inhumane is disrespectful. You're review sounds ignorant and whiny. If you make plans to spend a day in the countryside expect to get dirty and possibly even lost. Therefore be prepared!!!

The facility and programs offered are really cool, but the instructor has an out of control temper.

A beautiful place to ride!

This little farm has a little bit of everything and you will love the ride through the wooded trails! Pets Galore just like it says! The dogs are friendly and she has lots of other farm animals to look at while you are there. The horses and other animals are well cared for. This is a great family get away. I visit from time to time and have a couple of sweet puppies i got from Wendy, the owner. I cant wait to go back!

I loved the scenery and all the animals!

Its like going to a small petting zoo and then we got to ride also! The guide was very sweet and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful scenic ride and then looked at the animals afterwards. My kids loved it! If it is going to be a hot day i suggest going early in the morning or afternoon, that way you stay cooler. I had to pick a 80 degree day! Thanks for the pictures you took for us. We will be back!

Bad Reviews being deleted!!!

I find it very interesting that my original review has been deleted. I believe that says a lot about this establishment. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I am very glad to hear that not everybody has had bad experiences, however, we did. I am reposting my original review ---- I am hesitant to write this review only because, once we were out on our trail ride, we truly did have a good time. However, leading up to that point was horrible. We visited Pet's Galore early this summer as a gift for my husband. Our trip started with getting somewhat lost on the way there, upon calling the place to get directions, we were scolded by the owner for not printing off the directions she has on her website (which we had printed, we just aren't familiar with the area). Once we arrived, we were greeted by 9 dogs that surrounded us. And as another reviewer has pointed out, those dogs (and what we discovered to be many more dogs) are everywhere and make it very nerve racking trying not to step on them. We were provided a guide to show us the main trail, which was great, however the guide was a young child, very sweet, but not very helpful. She took us down the main trail, that leads behind the homeowner's house. What we saw there was disturbing. The homeowner had multiple dogs in cages in the backyard. The girl guiding us informed us that she always has multiple litters of puppies at any given time if we were interested in a new puppy. And as I write this, I feel like I should definitely point out, the ride was great and very enjoyable. If it weren't for the rudeness of the owner, the dogs everywhere, the inexperienced guide, or the puppy mill, we would have probably returned.

Best times of my life

I started riding at Pets Galore in October, 2012. I stumbled across it searching for a place to go riding with my mom. We went there and I had a great time, and that is when I found out about the Saddle up Club. You could truly never find a better deal than this place. To start off, the land and the trails are BEAUTIFUL. They are well maintained, and there are different terrains, which makes the ride even more fun. The horses are amazing, I do not think that I dislike any one of them. Each horse has a different personality, and all bring something different to the table. As I get more and more experienced, I get to ride all of them and actually be able to control them and have a great time. Then there is of course the owner, Wendy... great personality, and good company to be around. Even when I am finished riding I sometimes just will sit there and talk with her for a long time because she is easy to talk to. She has taught me so much about riding, I love taking her class. The Saturday class has a lot of good kids in it, and I learn a lot from them. I have learned to step out of my comfort zone and to broaden my horizon. I could never find a place better than this. I recently have started guiding trail rides, which I enjoy doing. The people who come ride there are usually very respectful, and they all have a great time. There are some groups that come in that are not very fun, but that's okay. I read the comments below, and I find them insulting myself... The whole dog comment about saying she has a puppy mill and they are mistreated is honestly ridiculous. Yes, she does breed her dogs, but all of her dogs are never put in cages or neglected. I find it wonderful to be around all the dogs, I find it funny that they run around with us on the trails while we are riding. I know this is not for everyone, but honestly do not insult her by calling it a puppy mill. As for saying she puts her horses away hot, that is untrue she makes sure that the last 10 minutes are strictly walk only. It is the customers responsibility to follow the rules. As for using a stick instead of a crop, that is cost effective. What is the difference? Why should she lend a crop to a customer when they are just going to drop it or throw it when they don't want it anymore. Well anyways, people who cannot see the beauty in this place are fools. This is the place I could call my home away from home. If I could be there everyday I would. Thank you so much Wendy for having this business, and keep up the great work!!

Great Riding/Well Cared for Horses

Riding here is awesome. Wendy teaches in a very hands on way and gives you a great opportunity to develop your skills. We have a good time in lessons but trail riding is so fun and there is plenty of room here to really get out and ride or relax and enjoy being out on the trails. The horses are all gentle and well trained. If you are a beginner no problem you get a mini how to handle your horse before your ride starts and you can just follow along on the trails with a Wrangler or really get out and get a good spirited ride if you are an experienced rider. I love it - I've been riding here every week for a year now. The horses are well cared for. Every horse has a covered paddock that is CLEANED EVERYDAY AND you WON'T find muddy pastures or paddocks here. This program is very affordable and really nice people come here not a bunch of horse people snobs. Love it!

Great Experience for Horse-Crazy-Kid

I first visited this property 16 years ago as a 10-yr-old, horse-crazy, little girl. I had never ridden "unguided" before and now after owning several horses of my own I am amazed at what good care the Pet's Galore horses took of me. I visited this place several times between the ages of 10 & 12 before my parents purchased me a horse of my own. Since then I haven't had the need to come back & visit, but am always recommending this place to others. My mother always felt I was very safe there and the people & critters we all amazingly friendly. I especially miss the little burrow (or was it a mule or donkey? Can't remember!) that used to follow guests around with his bowl in his mouth, begging for treats. Thanks Pet's Galore for my favorite childhood memories! I'm so happy to know you are still doing the same for others!

Fun ride on well trained horses

Fun ride. You can go unguided or guided on well trained horses. Not the typical rental horse that only follows the leader. Horses are well kept and in good condition in a clean facility. I recommend riding here and will go back!

Dont go

I used to ride here. I would find horses with no water sometimes, Alot of her horses hooves were over due for their trimmings/Shoeing. She did not teach proper horsemanship. Alot of her horses are not safe for beg. riders like she claims. She has thousands of dog running all over the place and getting steeped on by horses. She has her young green horses being ridden by beg. riders! If you want to go anywhere in your riding, dont ride here. Its a waste of your time and money. I am a horse owner and a rider. I show and train horses.
