I used the Yellow Pages to find this locksmith business and was given a quote of $39 for service call and $30 per lock to rekey. The appt was for 5-6PM. At 640P I called the number and was told "the locksmith should have already been there let me check with him." Dispatcher called back said she had made a scheduling error and the locksmith could not get there until 9PM. The locksmith called at 9P and said they would be there in about 15-20 minutes. They arrived and began working on rekeying first lock...I overheard her talking on the phone to someone getting instructions on this task. She told me that she was "helping" out her fiance because he was in the hospital. After 2 hrs no progress had been made...at 1115P I went to van and said can't we restart this process tomorrow...she said she almost was done (with one lock). At 1145PM she asked if she could just change out the deadbolt and doorlock with a new lock since she did not know how to rekey mine. I said yes due to the time...she did not do any rekeying so I ended up with 2 different keys for the new and old locks. I called the company and was asked what would make me happy..I told her that I would buy a new matching lock and deadbolt and they should come back and put on and rekey the other 2 locks to this one. She said she would check with locksmith and get back with me...she did not.. I called back and she told that the locksmith had only charged me for what she did. I asked for the company address to file a Better Business Bureau complaint and she told me she would have a manager call me. That was a week ago and no one has called me yet. I think this is a sham of a locksmith company who set up a phone number and uses local locksmiths to perform the work..the locksmith I got was very nice and worked hard but had no idea what she was doind...do not use this company.
