I had Oak Park Stucco do some minor repairs and change the color of our stucco at the end of 2015. One of our neighbors had an addition done the year before by them and you couldn't even tell it hadn't been there as long as the house had been. They spoke highly of Tom, Andrew and their work, so I decided to give them a call. My wife and I couldn't have been happier. They kept us informed every step of the way. They found a few extra things we didn't anticipate and have us options of how to deal with it before they did anything unlike some contractors that love to come across extra work and just do it and add it on the bill at the end. Andrew and Tom were an absolute delight to have around (they are HUGE dog lovers!) and kept the jobsite very clean every step of the way. A+! Thank you guys!

We had a dormer added to our stucco house last October and hired Oak Park Stucco to finish the job. Upon their arrival they told us they noticed a gap in the dormer and after further inspection Andrew (the owner's son) said he would be able to correct the problem for an additional $600.00. He guaranteed us that the issue would be fully taken care of but if there was anything that went wrong to call him immediately and he would be out to take care of it.

A month after the job was completed we had our first heavy rain and the roof leaked into our downstairs bedroom. The problem was certainly not corrected. I called Andrew as he suggested we do and he very rudely told me that he was a stucco guy and to call our frame carpenters. I reminded him that he took full responsibility when he took it upon himself to correct the problem and charge an additional $600.00 and that he also promised that he would take care of any problems that should arise. He would not budge. We called his father and got nowhere with him either. It has been over a month since we have spoken with Oak Park Stucco and we finally took it upon ourselves to get a roofer to address the problem. The whole process that Oak Park Stucco did was done incorrectly. Our roofer is now trying to figure out how to undo the damage that was done without having to remove the stucco.

I will never use this company again. The dishonesty and arrogance that they showed is shameful.

I recently had my home repaired and recoated by Oak Park Stucco and I could not be more satisfied with my overall experience. I had called Tom to ask about getting an estimate on fixing some problems with my stucco and he even worked around my schedule to be able to walk around the house with me and explain the things he saw and to make sure he knew what I was looking to get done. My husband and I were working on a budget and Tom was very understanding and willing to work with us and prioritize what repairs to do. HE EVEN TALKED ME OUT OF GIVING HIM A DEPOSIT UNTIL HE STARTED WORKING! I was speechless. Tom and his son both do great work together, most of the repair work they had done nearly disappeared after they put their special paint on. (i forget what they had called it but it was specific for stucco) Tom and his son were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and Tom said something that stuck with me. "As long as you are smiling and happy when you sign the check." We certainly were. Our house looks so much better now, so much so that it prompted me to write a review somewhere, and since I don't have an Angies List account, here I am. And I'm still smiling after signing the check. LOL.
