      Modern Welding Company is a family owned business that was founded in 1932. The company has a steel tank and vessel fabrication subsidiary in Houston and 11 others locations throughout the United States. It has five welding supply stores in Kentucky and Indiana. It is a supplier of Underwriters Laboratories-listed underground and aboveground steel storage tanks for flammable and combustible liquids. The company also makes chemical storage tanks, ASME pressure vessels and structural steel fabrications. Modern Welding offers a variety of vertical or horizontal storage tanks with capacities that range from 550 gallons to 50,000 gallons. Available with a choice of internal linings, Modern Weldling s tanks can be customized to handle gasoline, jet fuel, acids, alkalines, potable water, or other fluids. Modern Welding's tanks can be built to specifications and delivered by its fleet of company-operated trucks. The company has three subsidiaries, Modern Supply Company, Modern Welding and Modern Aviation. Its corporate headquarters is in Owensboro, Ky.
