Thank God we found Lotus Bridal & Alterations!!! After a horrible experience with Alteration Junction, we had less than a week to get our daughter's wedding dress fixed!!! The owner of Lotus Bridal & Alterations could see what a mess the dress was, and how distraught we were; so, she was very kind and took pity on us by agreeing to try her best to get it fixed in time for the wedding. She had to work very hard and many long hours to fix it, but THANK GOD she did it!!! Thankfully, Lotus Bridal & Alterations literally SAVED THE DAY!!! Considering all of the hard work and long hours she put in under extremely short time constraints, they were VERY reasonably priced, and her quality and attention to detail is amazing!!! I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again!!!

My visit with Lotus Alterations was superb. I was asked to be a bridesmaid by a friend, because a relative dropped out of her wedding at last minute. The bride had already ordered and paid for the dress, it was a size 14. I took the dress to Lotus Alterations and the seamstress did a super job. I am a size 10. I have used her to do alterations several times and have always gotten my clothing on time and very happy with her work.

I totally disagree with the previous reviewer. The seamstress made a dress for me according to my design. She always does a great job. I have been a customer ever since 2002. She has always been patient and never rude to me.

I took my bridal gown here to be altered and I was very unhappy with the final outcome. The owner was also the only seamstress working there at that time. I took my dress to her 4-5 weeks before my wedding. She was supposed to have it done two weeks before my wedding but she got behind and ended up finishing about five days before the wedding.



My first fitting ended up being my one and only fitting. She did a good job on the length and the bustle, but it was still too large on top. Instead of offering to take it up some more so my strapless dress would actually fit correctly, she told me she was going to charge me more money because it was difficult to sew because of the beading. When I said okay, it must have surprised her because she then said she wouldn't have it done until that upcoming Saturday morning, which she knew was the day of my wedding. She knew that would be impossible for me to accept that. It the alterations were off at all, my dress would risk being too small and there would be nothing I could do at that point. Then she basically said she didn't have time to make any more changes.



I've never heard of a bride only getting one dress fitting. The seamstress was never rude in her tone, but her customer service was poor. If you go here, get everything in writing, including price and number of fittings. I learned the hard way.
