A friend and I decided we would try Applebee's for lunch last week. The experience was dreadful. We got there at 11:00am and were the first people there. You would think the place would be clean was it wasn't. Our waiter had bad body odor (He was very nice at least), the window had about 50 dead insects lying about, the bathroom was disgusting, the both I was sitting in had enough food crumbs to feed an army of roaches and there was a hole in the celing above our table where dust was floating through. The building isn't that old, but looked to be in bad shape. Needless to say we didn't eat and left. My friend called later to complain and was told by an employee the kitchen was pretty clean, but not to eat the salads there. We couldn't believe it! The manager showed us to our seats so he had to be aware of how filthy the dining room was. Please think twice before eating here. I have had some good meals, but will never go back after this.

We ate here for the first time and our dinner was interrupted by not one but four roaches. When we notified the busy waiter he seemingly could not be bothered. And instead of the manager coming an apologizing to us, I had to get up and let him know that he had a roach infestation that was bothering not only our dining experience but that of those around us (they were at other tables too). Only a sad apology was made as we were walking out. Will not eat here again. Think twice before you do.
