About Us: Justice McGowan Welp has an undergraduate degree from Kean University in Violin and Viola Performance with emphasis in Education; Artist Certificate in Performance from the University of Siena (Università degli Studi di Siena); and a Masters in Education from New York University. Public, Private, and Parochial school experience includes classified special education students ages four to twenty-one in grades K-12, urban and rural communities, at risk environments, and all areas of instrumental and general musics, as well as PK-8 all subjects covering long-term leave. Ms. Welp currently teaches Band, Chorus and General Music Pre-K through 5th Grade at Lincoln School in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Employers in the field of education include Edison Board of Education, The Calais School, Partesi Music Services, The South Brunswick School of Music, The Fontaine Academy of Music, Musika LLC, and Elizabeth Board of Education. Over 15 years experience teaching privately, students ages two through adult on Violin, Viola, Piano, Guitar, Drums, Theory, History, Orchestra, Band, Ensemble, Chorus, and Chamber Music. Certifications include Public School Teaching Licenses K-12: Music, in Massachusetts & New Jersey, and is qualified under Teaching God's Children for Catholic Schools. Teachers include Sally Thomas, Ann Setzer, Sharon Roffman, Jan Mark Sloman, and Brett Deubner. Ms. Welp has performed with and attended the New York University Symphony Orchestra, New York Youth Symphony, Summit Symphony Orchestra of New Jersey, Siena University Summer Sessione Senese per la Musica e L'Arte , Mannes College of Music Preparatory Honors Program, The Institute for Strings, Meadowmount School of Music, and Meadowmount School of Music Conservatory. Ms. Welp is a member of MENC, United States Chess Federation, Lambda Alpha Sigma National Liberal Arts Honor Society, and Morristown Junior League.
