General Info

Family Friend Dog School and Agility Place has ten years experience in training dogs to become a functional dog. Agility training builds confidence and enhances overall communication between the dog and their owner. A full range of workshops are available. Patty Bensene has developed a varied and unique curriculum that begins each dog out with private tutoring sessions than moves them into more advanced training with small groups of ten. She works with the owners to get inside of their dogs head thus teaching people how their dog thinks in order to effectively influence their dogs behavior. Agility and obedience are her specialties with a major emphasis on agility. Her classes range from novice to expert and those interested in advanced classes focusing on preparedness and competition. Private agility classes are 6 weeks, 1/2 hour sessions and classes are 6 weeks, 1 hour sessions. Call or E-mail for more information. Problem Solving We work with you to analyze and understand the root of your dog's undesired behaviors, and then develop appropriate training solutions that constructively refocus the behaviors in ways that allow your dog to coexist happily within your family. Doggie Socials All dogs need to learn that good manners are not optional, whether in public or at home. Doggie Socials provide you and your dog with a fun and varied environment, allowing you to fine-tune the training techniques you've learned. Distractions, games, proper meet-and-greet manners, and doggie playtime make up these 1 1/2-hour group sessions. Private Instruction At our facility near Oregon City, we teach you positive, motivational techniques to encourage your canine companion to be an obedient and well-mannered pet.
