I used 'Discount' to drop a friend at a shuttle stop and then take me to the airport. The driver tried to take the longest, and most expensive route from my house to the shuttle stop. When we arrived at the airport, I gave him my credit card, he ran it, and the screen showed declined. He ran the card twice and both times it showed up on the monitor as declined so I paid in cash. In the airport I called my credit card company, they said there was nothing wrong with the charge, that it was the cab that was declining it. To my chagrin the charge showed up on my credit card. Does Discount Cab care if their employees are defrauding customers? Hmmm... I've called Discount to have them reverse the charges on the credit card.... This experience combined with the experience of the person on Aug 20 2010 is concerning. If you must use 'Discount' cab pay in cash.
Wow, I can't believed this happened... I got horrible service from a Discount cab driver so I left her no tip when I paid with my credit card. She handed me a reciept, I got out of the car and started to walk to my destination (I say walk, because she dropped me 200 yards away from where I told her to take me). She comes upto me about 150 yards later and says my card was declined and I now have to pay her cash. I didn't have any cash on me and I thought she was trying to hustle me for money because I left her no tip. So, I told her that no way was I going to pay her again when I have a reciept. OMFG, she called the cops on me and had me arrested making up this huge story about how I ran from her, even though the cops arrested me at my original destination!. So now I have an arrest for 'Theft of Services' on my record because I didn't leave her a tip on an 12 tab!

I would not recommend this company, Poor service, lack of proper communication. Long waits. Rude employees. Not at all what is required.
I have never had to use a cab before, and no one was available to recommend one. I called Discount, and they told me it would be between 5-20 mins. The cab showed up in 5 mins. and drove me 5 major blocks to pick up my car from the repair shop. The ride was clean, driver very nice and helpful (I am disabled), and cost me about $2/block and $2 for the pickup. It seems like a lot, but what with the cost of maintenance, insurance and payroll, it's not bad. As it turns out, this is the only co. my son will use. Don't be afraid to call them.
We used this company to go from Tucson Airport to Green Valley. The service was good but the price was high. Our neighbor told us about a few private driving services in Green Valley...one was Jerry's service and the other was GV transportation by Susan. Jerry was actually Kathy and the were decent.
The best price is GV transportation...about 20% less than the others and good service.
