AVOID THIS BUSINESS.

The reviews say it all. I love that in April, though everyone else had a miserable experience with this company, suddenly multiple people gave rave reviews, all with the same name format....... first name, number.

This company is ridiculous.

p Breath Air Duct Cleaning came in immediatly wanting to know how many vents I had, then told me since they were dirty (the shock!) it would cost an extra $200 to use the 'brush.' I refused the extra charge, so they did the basic job, which was taking their shop vac and running it a few feet into the vent pipe. Worthless. They scuffed my brand new bathroom door edge with their shop-vac hose (wracking back and forth while cleaning. Then, the tech hit my car while he left my house, claiming he didn't know anything to the police, later. Police just gave up. Now, I have to pay for the repairs myself. Fly-by-night scam. Groupon ended up refunding me the $69, but now I have to fix the bathroom door and my car fender.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I bought 2 Groupons (one for my hours and one for my parents house). They came to clean my parents air ducts and demanded more money in cash AFTER finishing the job. The technicican demanded the money in cash and would not leave hte home until my parents gave him more money. Now, the company has cancelled my appointment twice! I've been waiting for 2 months! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service! I beleive what the technician did by demanding moremoney and not leaving the premises was illegal. Stay far far away from this company!

Don't waste your money. Everyone i know that has used a coupon to get their ducts cleaned has had to pay extra so i was fully prepared to do so. They totally missed my first appointment and when i rescheduled they were to call me before coming as i work about 2 minutes from home and did not want to miss another day of work. The showed up without the phone call. I was quoted an additional cost of $800 to clean the return vents ( i live in a townhouse) and spray for mold. When i balked at that they said that they would do them for $300. I know everyone else who has had this happen has paid an additonal $150 so i thought this was high. Only one vent was really bad and even if they had offered to do just that one i would have paid but instead that courteous manner was replaced by barely cordial (not rude however) and i was left with filty returns. Would have been nice if there had been any accommodation for my missed time for the first day when they did not show and then for the vent cleaning that i could have done myself. Don't bother with this company. i am really hesitant about using anyone after this.

Used the GroupOn and they came and cleaned all the vents but not the air returns. They wanted $55 for each return, claiming it was extra.



Gotcha tactics are just a complete turnoff. These people deserve to be out of business.

I called the Deep Breath Air Duct Clean around June 16, 2012, to schedule for my Groupon package of air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and furnace inspection that was to expire on July 18, 2012. The earliest they could schedule me was July 12th, so I took it (although I thought that was a little ridiculous - don't offer a deal if you can't handle the volume). They called me about a week before the scheduled date telling me that they couldn't get a technician and would have to reschedule. The lady promised me that she would make a note and they would NOT reschedule me again. So I got rescheduled for July 25. Lo and behold, they call me in mid-July to tell me that they have to reschedule me AGAIN because now their technician won't work on the scheduled date. Without anything to do, I just reschedule for August 7th. Now, today (August 2nd), they tell me they've called all their technicians and none of them can work on August 7th! What are they doing calling their technicians now?!!! They should have set a technician the day they had to reschedule me for the second time. Now, they've rescheduled me THREE times. This is ridiculous.

This was in the Los Angles area. A SCRAM! bait and switch. Not Groupons fault. They refunded my money right away. They came into my house, wearing pants down to thier knees and dirty. They tried to sweet talk me into a $500 change from what I'd purchased and they lied. Also, part of the deal was that I would have to leave my house for 30 minutes for my safety and they would remain inside. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? DO NOT let these people in your house!

Worst Groupon experience! Never had a problem until I bought this one for Deep Breath Air Duct Clean.These people were AWFUL.



I tried to schedule an appointment before our baby was born to prep for arrival 1 month in advance but the earliest available time they had wasn't for another 2 months. The day finally came and when the man called to see if we were home, my wife missed his call attending to our new born baby. Instead of leaving a message, sending a text, knocking on the door or trying to call again, he just left to his next appointment. I called to find out what happened and they had no explanation as to why he would do that. We rescheduled for another month after that and 2 days before they said they had to reschedule for Sunday! As much as I didn't want to do Sunday, I agreed since I had to get this thing finally done. I also asked how they would compensate me and the lady said a supervisor would call me back....and never did.



Sunday comes and they actually showed up! The man knocks on my door, walks in immediately tells me that the standard service can't be performed because I have too many stairs in my condo complex!! He offers an alternative technique that requires going through every individual vent in the condo and he was going to change an extra $19 per vent!!! That's all they could do for me after all the runaround they gave me? I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone under any circumstances.

This is a totally spam. I originally purchased the service through the Groupon with the company name called "deep breath air duct clean". At the first checking their website, the company is located in CA but doing service in DC metropolitan area????

When finally the "technicians" showed up, he kept saying "the company, the company" but not be honest to tell me that he is the sub-contractors. (from now on, I will always check service people's badge/identity first before they start to do any work) The cleaning is not PRO at all that I could use my own vacuums to sucks those dust anyway.



The totally SPAM part is that the technicians selling me the other service - clean up the furnace/spreading air duct treatments/installing UV light etc....... Each of them will cost at least addition couple hundreds.



And think about it, when you see the dark/grey air duct, will you leave it alone without the tempting to purchase further cleaning-solution? Especially, there is baby's toys everywhere in my house.



I end of spending another $378, pay the check to some personal account, to "treat" the air duct with some sort of chemical and wiping my furnace coil/connection boxes.



I don't mind to spend the money but I do mind the business is not honest at front!!! What if I have questions about the chemical they use or where is the warranty in this scenario? And you almost felt like ripped off because of last-minute-have-to-purchasing thing.

This is REAL SPAM. Groupon deals SUCKS. Bought the deal for $69 which said Complete Vents and Dryer vent cleaning. When the guy showed up on 4/29/12... he started showing his attitude right away. He was asking me to pay additional $500 to work and denined to perform any work per the Agreement as I bought from GROUPON.

I did 2 things... 1. Stop any further subscriptions to GROUPON. 2. Wrote to the company for the refund.

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY IN BALTIMORE, MD AREA. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL FOLKS.



I don't know how many others are cheated like me. Because, I see they sold 900+ deals in this area via GROUPON.

Deep breath did their promotional air duct cleaning a few weeks back now. They couldn't make their first appointment but their office called and made a new appointment for me right away. They also offered a discount on additional services if I was interested so it made it up. I'd use these guys if I need a repair in the future.

The tech came on time for me and had called me about 45 min before he showed up. I got the groupon service done and everything went well. I would recommend them to anyone that is thinking about getting their service.

Deep breath came to my house about a month ago and I am surprised by the reviews on yelp. Maybe I received a different cleaner, but he came in the time frame and did a complete job. I paid $69 on Groupon and was satisfied with their work. The tech knew what he was doing and explained to me the steps he was going to take and why before he started. Of course he showed me a bunch of other things that I "need" to do to my furnace, but up selling seems like a standard practice with all these Groupon deals. I was satisfied with the job that was done and didn't have any appointment or booking problems with the Sacramento staff.

Don't buy the groupon. This is a total waste of money. All they did was vacuum inside the air vent openings. Nothing at all was done to clean, vacuum or otherwise disturb anything in the ductwork, anywhere, period. The dryer vent cleaning was worse. They ran a snake connected to a drill for only a few feet from the outside dryer vent cover. They were so inept that they wouldn't even use an extension cord that I offered so they could get the drill closer to the dryer vent to at least reach a few feet further. The drill gets plugged wherever convenient to them & if the snake reaches the opening, that is what you get. Unbelievable! They embarass themselves. They pulled out the dryer & just vacuumed the very end of the exhaust pipe. They didn't even use the snake on that end? When I next used the dryer, I realized that they did not hook back up the exhaust pipe to the dryer! So they disturbed the lint on one end & didn't connect the dryer on the other. The rest of the ductwork was not touched leaving at best a fire hazard. Don't even think about it...

This is the 2nd time I have used these guys. Last time they cleaned our Dryer and this time they cleaned out ducts. I was very happy that the same crew came back. Again, very professional crew, very experienced, they explained everything and gave me updates throughout the job. The cleaning took them both about 3 hours to complete from start to finish and I am very happy with the quality of the service. We are now customer for life.

One word... Awesome!!!‎ I'm from out of town and just happen to break down a block away from these guys. My handy dandy little iPhone app found them for me. They reassured me that it wasn't a problem to fix, but they had to get the part. They were able to order and

Pretty good company,they came on time.the tech did a very clean job, and he told.my furnace and ducts is very clean now ,i will use them again.

As others said, they never answer phone. I had to call groupon and ask for a refund. They would not give me one. They got the cleaners to call me but my appt is 2 months out. From what I am reading sounds like I am better off not taking time off from work to get it done.

Total scam, total upsale attempt, not even worth the Groupon rate.

Just upsell, and totally a scam, don't use this company.
