      Blankets 4 Baby and U is a dream started to make sure that the art of crochet does not die. The founder has crocheted for over 40 years and believes in giving to the community. Over the past 5 years over hundreds of blankets have been donate to hospitals, nursing homes and the homeless on the streets of downtown Atlanta. This year?s goal is to provide 50 children suffering with cancer at Egelston Hospital with blankets. Come learn to crochet and put a smile on a child?s face. Fifty hats made for women with breast cancer will be distributed for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to Dekalb Medical and St. Joesph Hospitals. Blankets for the homeless with sack lunches will also be distributed. Goal for 2011 giving will be 300+ scarfs for the homeless plus blankets. Donations of yarn, gift bags or money accepted.
