      Since 2000, the Belger Arts Center has staged over 70 large-scale exhibitions and provided thousands of free, docent-led tours. Besides presenting some of the best in contemporary art, the Belger's ceramics teaching studio provides classes and workshops for the community at large. Belger Crane Yard Studios, a new satellite location in the east Crossroads/Jazz Districts, is quickly becoming a major arts destination in its own right. Besides housing to the legendary Lawrence Lithography Workshop, a ceramics supply shop, and Asheer Akram's metal studio, the 56,000 square foot complex provides studio space for over 60 ceramics artists and artists-in-residence.
