American Forest Management offers a variety of operating services such as forest and land management, real estate, investment and appraisal services, environmental management and technical and data services. The company manages more than 1.5 million acres for institutional investors and private non-industrial landowners. This full-management acreage has expanded since the 1990s with increased institutional investor participation in timberland ownership. Its clients include non-industrial private forestland owners, timberland investment management organizations, conservation organizations, bank trust departments and forest industry companies. American Forest Management s primary work is focused in the timber-growing regions of the United States and the company has international experience, including projects in Russia, China, France, Germany, Latin America and South America. Its headquarters is in Sumter, S.C.
