If you are dealing with the son, Paul, do not hire A to Z Improvements. He did not complete the jobs, took my money, never returned to finish the work and did not return my calls or text. His father did try to warn me about him, so I have to give him credit. I was careful but still got taken and I have the feeling he has done this many times before. Look at the complaint on BBB website. Beware of this one.. he starts jobs and takes off for weeks. Watch out for his ads using different company names on craigslist.

I called Bill to replace my front door and sidelights (rotting wood). Bill came out, took his time, and went through all the scenarios with

me, from best to worst-case. We must have talked for an hour, and he was never in a rush. By the time he left I felt like we were old

friends. Bill was upfront on everything - costs, time, etc. So when the near-to-worst case scenario came true and near half of the front

of my house entry area needed replacing due to extensive water damage, it wasn't a surprise. Bill discovered the problem and got it solved quick. His crew was great - they were friendly, worked steady and at a good pace, and also cleanly. Every night the front of my house looked spotless and ready for the next day. Bill also spent a great deal of time finding the right stone to match what was on the front of the house that was lost. No easy feat for a 10-year old house. It matches so well and looks so good, you'd have to know he did the work to see the difference. Bill also spent alot of time working with my insurance company and explaining things to them. I know Bill's a busy man but he took the time, which I'm not sure others would do. I'm telling you, if you need something done, call A to Z. I could not be more impressed with Bill and his crew. Total professionals through and through. Price was more than fair too. I'm one of those people who dreads havng to find those guys you always need - auto mechanic, doctors, etc. Alot of times I feel like I'm getting scammed or the work just isn't up to snuff; it's hard to find really good ones that you're comfortable with. Now, I never have to worry about a contractor again, should the need arise. Trust me - call Bill. You won't be sorry.

He said he would send me a quote for the project next day. Well five days later, I still haven't received the quote. I called him and left a message but have yet to heat back....

Bill and his crew saved my home when my upstairs bathroom flooded through the ceiling! The damage seemed irreparable but with Bill's talents and perseverance he fixed it all and now my home looks as though nothing ever happened! If I could give him 10 stars on this review I would! I would like to give my best recommendation to Bill for all the renovations he did to my house in Princeton. My sliding patio door and upstairs windows were allowing too much cold air into the house and Bill solved the problem with top quality replacements and all under budget. He also renovated my master bathroom, which was a very big job. He replaced the tiles, added marble top to the sink area and re-finished the bathroom cabinets doors.. His suggestions were excellent, on what kind of tiles and marble fit the décor of my house. And when he removed the old tiles and bathroom lightening he found small problems that could have led to larger problems down the road. These he fixed and kept the cost to a minimum. My bathroom was a large scale project that he handled it beautifully. He is a true master craftsman. Creative, hard working, honest, and knows the products and material like no one else.

Bill and his crew did an amazing job remodeling the entire first floor of my home (Kitchen, living room, family room, dining room, and bathroom)! He is not only talented and EXTREMELY knowledgable at what he does, he takes the time to explain things to you and brainstorm design options if you are not sure...this is very important to a first time homeowner such as myself. I have recommended A to Z to anyone looking for a contractor and will be calling him again soon to remodel my upstairs.

I asked A to Z Improvements to fix a complex bathroom problem I had. And I needed it done in 4 days. Bill came and gave me the lowest estimate I received. And the quality and craftsmanship of his work was the best I have seen in a contractor. He replaced the tile and rotted wood and did all in the bathroom to seal the leakage that was causing water damage. He replaced the rotted wood. Knowing I was on a budget he went out of his way to find the very best material at what I could afford. His work installing my new bathroom was exceptional. And his knowledge of all aspects of the work was of immense value. He did the job in 4 days, making the deadline I was under.
