General Info

Dave is married to Grace and their first born is a sweet little Whipdor named Rey (pictured above). If Dave is not in session, he is probably into a good book, golfing, hiking, listening to vinyl, or eating Mexican food. He is a Type 2 (The Helper) on the Enneagram, and a Meyers Briggs ESFP. Dave hails from Minneapolis, MN in the frosty north. He graduated from a small, private school in Minneapolis, MN in 2005. At 28, Dave transitioned to Nashville, TN and started a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University which he completed in 2016. Dave was drawn to the M.M.F.T. program because of his own journey with anxiety and depression. Sessions are held in an office with a warm and welcoming environment. Dave loves to laugh and hopes in each session that you feel comfortable and heard. Dave primarily sees with clients dealing with anxiety, creative blocks/creative process, depression, spirituality (post-evangelical, deconstruction, and religious trauma), relationships (premarital, communication/conflict), and sexuality.
