      Knowles Home, located in Nashville, Tenn., is a more than 100-bed assisted living facility and it also provides adult day care services. It is operated by the Metropolitan Hospital Authority, which is one of the departments in the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tenn. Metropolitan Hospital Authority also operates Bordeaux Long-Term Care, which is a more than 400-bed nursing home. Bordeaux Long-Term Care primarily serves various communities in the Davidson County in Tennessee, and offers a wide range of health care programs and services. Founded in 1893, the facility offers a full-time medical director who specializes in gerontology, and also provides various nurse practitioners who provide a variety of clinical care services to residents.
