I can't say enough about this hotel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Staff was very friendly.

However, it wasn't so much the hotel that made our trip so enjoyable. It was the gentleman at the front desk - Larry.

Larry went out of his way on multiple occasions to ensure that my husband, two sons and I had a wonderful trip. He paid extra attention to my sons, indulging their sweet tooth with an extra cookie (or two!). We had booked a room on Dec 30th. After exploring the beautiful city, we wanted nothing more than another day to be able to enjoy it even more. Larry made it possible for us to do so.

I only hope that hotel management will see this. Larry is an incredible asset to your hotel!!

We stayed at this hotel while enjoying O.V.C.basketball tournament the !st weekend of march 2012. on arrival we were" greeted with"welcome home" and warm cookies and unfortunately tornadoes. the staff did a very good job keeping us informed of the situation. when the siren sounded "take cover'"we were directed to their safe place until it was safe to return to our rooms.I felt safe and welcome here and will return.

I stayed at the hotel for a fe...

I stayed at the hotel for a few days recently. The first thing that I noticed was the location of the hotel. It is in the middle of a business oriented area. During the day there are a lot of people walking around but after 4 o'clock or so 95% of the people is gone. When I asked the hotel personnel where everybody was, they said that it is like that everyday. Well I was not looking to be in the party town of US but I was expecting a little more life. It is a very quite place, if that is what you are looking for during your vacation.

The valet I believe the see so many people during the day that they have a very undesirable neutral attitude. Because I was driving a company car I was uncomfortable with the idea of somebody else driving my vehicle. So the valet did not waist time to tell me that there was a public parking across from the hotel. It was not across from the hotel it was about 200 yard from the lobby entrance. This is just to the entrance of the parking lot and then you have to park. When I finally decided that it was not a good idea to walk that far with all my thing the valet guy continued asking me all this questions even when I told him to give me some time while I put my things together. It was very annoying. When I was ready then he took his time finishing with other vehicle and making me wait.

The hotel has a pool on the 2nd floor and a gym. The gym is not bad and the pool is O.K. The room is another story. I have been in cheaper hotels that offer more that this one. The TV programs were very limited, the bathroom was very uncomfortable and there was not refrigerator for whatever you may want to save for later. You are force to either walk to a place where you can buy things that would not go bad or to buy directly from the hotel at their prices.

The front desk I have to say was very nice and attentive. Also the bellboy crew was very nice and helpful when I ask about the foot. I think they understood the problem with the location and most certainly other guess probably have asked the same questions.

There is a fairly good walk that you can take to Broadway (It just last about 3 blocks of almost fun). If you are a bar person, that likes to sit at the bar and drink, while listening to some cheap music well have at it. Do not expect Broadway to come back to life until late at night. I found out that the places to eat late in the day or at night are very few and the menu can be very good and expensive or limited and cheap.

Bottom line the hotel looks good but because of the other factor for me it is not worst the price luckily the company was paying this trip. Broadway probably was good on other time; it did not look that good for me, so not big deal. Up to you what you would like to do...
