      Above and beyond the calls of duty

      I have seen with my own eyes just how far they will go to protect clients and associates. These men and women are prompt and professional. AmGaurd was the security company when I lived at Hallmark Inn on Trinity Lane in Nashville. When I moved in this hotel was drugs and prostitute invested. After a few months of them patroling and cleaning up the area, "I finally felt safe to let my children out doors to play". They made me feel like they weren't only there to protect the employees. But the guest as well. It makes a difference when you trust those who are there for the protection of all who enter the premises. I would recommend AmGaurd to anyone who wants a fair and honest company on their side.

      HISTORY: Thomas Choate Smith QA, CPA founded AmGuard Security in 2003 after more than ten years ofmanagementexperience in the security-guard industry. Tom is a CPA and his background also includes twenty-two years experience as Vice President/Internal Audit and Security for two top-10 nationwide financial institutions. PHILOSOPHY: Our philosophy is that if we diligently manage our employees and treat them fairly, they are more likely to serve our clients with care. Communication of expectations and standards is a key factor. CLEAR EXPECTATIONS: We utilize a detailed employee policy handbook, plus written operating procedures unique to each client/post to make clear what is expected; and we stress compliance with these documents. SUPERVISION: Consistent and proactive supervision is also a key. Many companies simply send someone to the post and assume all is well unless the client complains. We, however, adhere to the theory that employees might not always do what we expect, but they will do what we inspect; therefore, we emphasize unannounced supervisory post visits. QUALITY: AmGuard Security places a high priority on the quality and professional conduct of our workforce.
