Don't use this facility. It's...

Don't use this facility. It's new and impressive to look at, however:
I made an appointment after losing my health insurance as a scheduler called me to offer 60% off of my expenses, leaving me a $50 payment at time of service. I agreed.
The nurse practitioner I saw kept making mention of my ethnicity and asked me if I had a rice pot at home. She then cut our visit short when I admitted to not having insurance. She misdiagnosed me and I paid almost $400 out-of-pocket for medication, for a condition which I ended treating myself with using an over-the-counter product for under five dollars.
I received and additional bill for about another hundred dollars for the visit, as well as a later bill for lab testing which approached $700.
I tried reaching the nurse practioner several times and never received an answer. I filled out a review sent by Dartmouth Hitchcock, and afterwards, was contacted by a nurse on behalf of the practioner, who then attempted to make me out to be ignorant or weird in some way.
This is an unprofessional setting for healthcare, not to mention ineffective and irresponsible. The financial information could be described as misleading, but I'd just say they lied. I'd advise anyone, friend or foe, to avoid seeking care here. I am also a health care provider and I'm deeply disappointed and concerned with the way Dartmouth Hitchcock treated a patient. Their conduct and ethics are shameful.
