Dr. Don C. Kalant, Sr. received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Illinois. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University. He served his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines V.A. Medical Center. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Kalant holds a position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loyola University Medical Center, where he is actively involved in resident education. He previously held the position of Assistant Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Hines V.A. Medical Center. Dr. Kalants areas of significant interest and expertise are dental implantology, orthognathic surgery (correction of jaw deformities) and surgical management of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Dr. Kalant enjoys cooking, golfing and spending time with his family.
