I can't relate to the experience of the first reviewer. There is only one owner, Gary, who greets his customers personally and cheerfully every time. The store holds regular seminars and customer events, including free appraisals, always with coffee and a smile. The dealers bring in a diverse collection of items, perfect for that unique gift or purchase! We have purchased there for years, dating back to the original location, with nothing but a wonderful experience every time. Knowledgable staff, wonderful atmosphere, and great selection! The first reviewer is correct- there are a lot of antique stores out there. Many good ones in fact. But to us, nothing beats a greeting (by name no less!) from the team at Affordable and the wonderful selection available for very reasonable prices. Great store. Highly recommended!!!

I love Affordable Antiques

I called and spoke to Patti about selling some furniture. She told me to take some pictures and come in. I went in walked up to Patti, introduced myself, and mentioned we just spoke on the phone. Her only response was that I needed to talk to Dennis and he was with someone. So I waited about 30 mins went back to Patti again asked about speaking to some one. She left me with the impression she did not want to be bother and said Dennis was still with another customer. After being in the store almost an hour I went up to the counter. I found Patti and the rest of the staff (including Dennis) eating lunch. I don’t believe Dennis even knew I was there to see him. No one acknowledged me so I left. Patti, if you were not interested in buying anything why did you have me come all the way down there? By the way I went to the other antique store in Naperville and they are very interested it what I have.
