WOW! Great steaks...servers know how treat customers. I tried the Fenway Filet. It's a Filet Mignon with fresh crab cake and awesome sauce. WONDERFUL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
We enjoyed our steaks, the wait staff was great, this is a nice place to eat.
Barons is one of the most charming places Myrtle Beach has to offer. It is decorated with rich dark wood and has a gorgeous bar to get a cocktail at before your meal. I didn't know what to expect seeing that the ownership had changed hands, but I quickly found out that the organic meat and vegetarian thing was gone. The new owners brought back the origional Barons steaks and chops concept offering only Black Angus and prime grade meats. Our meal was to die for. I had the Seafood Portofino and my husband had the biggest steak I have ever seen! (It was called the Fulton Mountain or something) The staff was very well educated and the owner came and spoke with us about our meal peronally. Great touch! Desert was a Flambe Bananas Foster that just melted in your mouth. My regret is that we didn't find this restaurant sooner or we would have eaten there at least twice on our trip. Next year I'm tackling that lobster! Definately a hidden gem!
