The owner's nephew is someone we trust dearly in the HVAC industry, so when we called him, we thought the price of the job would be reasonable and we would be willing to pay a little more for someone who treated first time customers as someone they'd like to keep.

I'm kicking myself for not asking for a quote or his hourly rate. When Ricky came out to take a look, he suggested we check the warranty to get a new burner assembly shipped to us, which I did while he was there. Warranty was good and made the transaction with the water heater folks. Ricky was present for about 15-20 minutes.

He said he would come back the next day if we got the part in , and he would settle up with us then after he installed the new burner assembly. The part came quickly and Ricky came back promptly. Again, I did not ask for a quote, which was dumb of me.

He was here the next day for roughly an hour installing a pretty simple burner assembly and charged us $245. What?!

On the receipt, it read that his "preliminary quote" was also $245. Umm...I never got a quote, dude. Then again, I never asked. I don't know how much plumbers get in hourly rate these days, but the wife and I thought we got ripped off. I wont be calling him again. Sorry.

I called and the plumber for my mom and Ricky showed up in the same morning and fixed the leaking pipe. They had to crawl under the house and they even cleaned up after themselves! Mom said they were so professional! Thanks so much for the prompt response and explaining everything to mom!

Called him at 8 PM. Arrived shortly thereafter. Repaired two commodes in minimum time. Very courteous, knowlegable & professional. Rates are very reasonable. Work done by the owner. Highly recommend his services. Sam B., Murfreesboro, TN.
